Heavy rain in various districts of Punjab, PDMA alert issued

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued an alert regarding heavy rain in various districts of Punjab.

The PDMA directed the Deputy Commissioners across the province to remain alert.

DG Irfan Ali Kathia PDMA says that the relevant departments should be on alert to deal with the emergency situation, the district emergency operation centers including the provincial control room should also be on alert.

The situation is being monitored in the control room, other rescue agencies, including 1122, keep the machinery and staff alert.
