Prince William brings home sweet treats for George, Charlotte and Louis

Prince William proved he’s a doting dad when he brought home a special treat for his children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, following his visit to the Isles of Scilly.  According to DailyMail, The Prince of Wales couldn’t resist picking up five Cornish pasties – the perfect number for his family – during a stop at the On the Quay cafe.

William chatted with staff about the popular savoury pastries and remarked, “They smell delicious. Make your mouth water.” He also shared that he enjoyed a swim in the ocean the previous day, noting the beautiful weather.

The Isles of Scilly hold a special place in the Prince’s heart, as he and Kate Middleton often vacation there with their children.  William has fond memories of visiting the islands as a child with his mother, Princess Diana, father, King Charles, and brother, Prince Harry.

While speaking with well-wishers, William expressed regret about not being able to stay longer but jokes, “My family are very upset I’m here without them…The children will kill me if I don’t go home later.”

The Prince of Wales’ two-day visit to south west England also included a stop in Newquay, where he toured an innovative housing project aimed at addressing homelessness. This trip marked his first overnight engagement since Princess Kate’s cancer diagnosis in March.  Despite the circumstances, sources close to the Princess report a sense of positivity and optimism surrounding her treatment.
